See clearly. Choose intentionally. Move.On purpose. With purpose.
Helping people who can’t keep living the way they’ve been living untangle what’s actually in the way and build a life that actually works.
You don’t always need the same kind of help.
Sometimes you need to untangle what’s actually happening. Sometimes you need to orient yourself to where you are now. Sometimes you need to reclaim what matters and what’s yours to choose. And sometimes you need to shape what comes next around the reality you’re actually living.
These aren’t steps you move through in order. They’re different places the work can begin—and you may move among them as your life and circumstances change.
Untangle
Get clear on what’s actually happening.
Separate the facts from the assumptions. Identify what’s working, what isn’t, and what is actually getting in the way before trying to solve the problem.
Orient
Find your bearings in the reality you’re in now.
Look at where you are, what matters, what constraints and resources are real, and what direction makes sense from here.
Reclaim
Reconnect with what’s yours to choose.
Recognize your agency, priorities, preferences, boundaries, strengths, and possibilities—and make room for what matters to you now.
Shape
Build a life from what’s real.
Work with what is real, what remains, and what you’ve reclaimed. Keep what works. Add what you need. Shape the structures, supports, choices, and patterns around those pieces so your life works better for you.
Wherever we start, we RESET.
The RESET Method gives us a repeatable way to navigate the work: Recenter. Examine. Seed. Expand. Transform.
Because life changes. The terrain changes. And what works needs to be able to change with it.
Coaching for people whose lives don’t fit the usual advice.
This isn’t about giving you another formula for how your life is supposed to work. It’s about understanding the life you’re actually living – the terrain, constraints, patterns, needs, possibilities, and all – and figuring out what works from there.
You don’t need someone else’s map.
You need a way to navigate your own.
Maybe you’re here because…
You’ve spent your life solving problems.
But effort, intelligence, and determination no longer seem to be enough.
The knot remains.
“I know how to solve problems. Why can’t I solve this one?”
- A health challenge, diagnosis, or caregiving responsibility has changed what’s possible — and nobody handed you a new roadmap.
- You’re doing everything right, but don’t feel like you’ve arrived.
- You’ve spent years caring for everyone else and can’t hear your own voice clearly anymore.
- You’re exhausted from solving symptoms while the real problem stays untouched.
- You’re tired from honoring competing priorities as if they’re all equally important.
- Life looks successful from the outside but feels unsustainable on the inside.
- Life changed the rules and you’re ready to stop reacting and start rebuilding.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s building a life that actually works.
A way to navigate your life — no matter the terrain.
The Intentional RESET Method
A practical, repeatable process to help you see clearly, choose intentionally, move with purpose, and learn from what happens.
Orient yourself to the terrain of your life. Pause automatic reactions and take stock of where you are, what’s happening, and what you’re navigating.
Look under the surface. Untangle what’s actually happening from what you’re making it mean. Identify what’s shaping the terrain and your response to it.
Plant something new. Introduce an idea, perspective, response, behavior, pattern, or possibility that opens a path to purposeful movement.
Give the seeds room to grow. Act, experiment, gather information, and observe what happens—not just what you expect to happen.
Update your map to better reflect the terrain of your life. Let what you’ve learned shape what you understand, what you expect, and what you choose next.
“Amanda described methods, actionable activities, and suggested classes of metrics that I could put into use immediately. The safe and open environment she created were helpful in promoting my understanding of my own situation. Overall the articulation and filtering of previously confused and half formed thoughts was very useful and appreciated.”Scott Tomlinson, PE, PhD Candidate · Research Engineer
Meet Amanda
Engineer. Systems thinker. Mother. Advocate. Coach.
I’ve spent much of my life helping people make sense of complicated things—first in manufacturing and leadership, and now in the complicated terrain of being human.
Intentional Reset Coaching grew from that same instinct: look closely at what’s actually happening, understand what matters, and find a way that works in real life.
